Admission Fees

Including access to the museum, permanent and temporary exhibitions.

It is possible to book your tickets online before your visit, but it is not mandatory. Click HERE. Don't forget to select your date and hour of arrival. Tickets booked online do NOT ALLOW YOU TO CUT THE QUEUE.

Visitors with a MuseumPASSMusées, a passport, an ICOM card or a press card can also book their tickets online by selecting the corresponding category. We accept Brussels Pass (until 21/11/2021) for your payment.

Visiting Hours

Museum, permanent and temporary exhibitions, bookshop

Open from Tuesday to Sunday - 10am to 6pm (last tickets for the museum: 5.00pm).

Closing day: Monday.

Open on holidays except on 25/12 and on 01/01.

Closed from 3.00pm on 24/12 (last tickets: 2.00pm).


All texts of the museum are written in French, Dutch and English. A QR code gives you access to translations in German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese and Chinese. These translations are included in the entrance fee and are at the disposal of our foreign visitors (permanent exhibitions only).


Comic Strip Library, documentation room (access as from 16 years old)

Opening hours Open from Tuesday to Saturday (10.30am - 5.30pm)
Entrance: € 1,50 or subscription € 12,00 for 10 days (free to choose)
Attention : access as from 16 years and older

Comic Strip Reading Room (access to everybody)

Every day: Open from Tuesday to Sunday (10.30am - 5.30pm)
Entrance : € 0,50 or free upon presentation of the entrance ticket
