The Wolf in underpants exposed

The Wolf in underpants actually originated from another series: The old geezers. There, a travelling puppet theatre called "Le Loup en slip" appeared in one particular album. Since 2016, that merry wolf has been living its own adventures. The creators combined their talents to appeal to a younger audience with this comic strip. The main character is a friendly wolf, recognisable by his red-and-white striped pants, who stands out for his generosity and sympathy. The stories, written by Wilfrid Lupano, were drawn and coloured by Mayana Itoïz, with contributions by Paul Cauuet. They are full of humour and meaning. The albums deal with important themes such as fear, difference, work and fashion and highlight solidarity, friendship, discovery and travel.

We are immensely excited to welcome this special wolf to our museum in the Gallery. Little life in the forest, with Madame Owl, the anti-wolf brigade and Robert the squirrel, king of hazelnuts and business, is full of surprises. Young and old alike can enjoy this endearing world that will make you laugh and feel good!
